Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 July 2026

These terms govern your use of MetricPilot, a reporting and analytics service available at https://metricpilot.in. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. MetricPilot is intended for business use by agencies, freelancers, consultants and in-house marketing teams.

2. The service

MetricPilot reads advertising performance data from accounts you authorise and turns it into dashboards, AI-assisted summaries and PDF reports. It is a read-only reporting tool. It does not create, edit, pause, resume or delete campaigns, ad groups, ads or keywords, does not change bids or budgets, does not create advertising accounts and does not serve advertising.

The same limitation applies to every platform we support, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Ads: MetricPilot performs no write operations on ad sets, ads, budgets, audiences, creatives or pixels, and publishes nothing to any Page or Instagram account.

2A. Authorisation, ownership and platform terms

You remain the owner of your advertising accounts and of the data inside them. MetricPilot accesses a platform only after you complete that platform's own OAuth consent screen, and only with the minimum permission needed for reporting — a single read-only ads_read permission on Meta and the single https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope on Google Ads. Authorisation is revocable by you at any time from inside MetricPilot or from the platform's own settings, and revoking it stops all further access immediately.

Your use of connected platforms also remains governed by their terms — including the Google Ads Terms and Google Ads API Terms of Service, and the Meta Platform Terms and Meta Developer Policies. MetricPilot is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Google LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc.

3. Your account and responsibilities

Keep your credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You confirm that you own, or have documented permission from the account owner to access, every advertising account you connect, and that your use complies with the terms of those platforms — including the Google Ads Terms, the Google Ads API Terms of Service and the Meta Platform Terms.

4. Acceptable use

Do not access accounts without authorisation; resell, redistribute or warehouse raw platform data outside the reporting purpose; reverse engineer, scrape or overload the service; bypass plan limits; upload unlawful or infringing content; or use MetricPilot to break any applicable law or platform policy.

5. Subscriptions and billing

A free plan is available with limited capacity. Paid plans are billed in advance monthly or annually in INR and renew automatically until cancelled. GST invoices are issued where a GSTIN is provided. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change affecting you.

6. Data ownership

You own your workspace content, your clients' advertising data and the reports you generate. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service. We claim no rights over your data and we do not sell it. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Intellectual property

MetricPilot, its software, design, documentation and brand remain our property. These terms grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. You may share the reports you generate with your clients freely.

8. AI-generated summaries

Report summaries are drafted automatically from your metrics. They are an aid, not professional advice. Review them before sharing with a client; you remain responsible for what you send.

9. Availability and third-party dependencies

We work to keep MetricPilot available but do not promise uninterrupted service. The product depends on third-party advertising APIs; outages, rate limits or changes on their side can delay or limit reporting and are not grounds for a refund.

10. Termination

You may cancel or delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law or a platform policy, or if your use threatens the security of the service — with notice where practicable. On termination your data is deleted as described in the Data Deletion page.

11. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that reported figures are free of errors introduced upstream by the advertising platforms.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
